Unlike Genesis, Deutoronomion is a five-year anniversary compilation that acts more like a 'best of' iX-Acht's first two albums (Sceaduwe and A Noise for a Noise), including tracks from Industrial Welfare as well as new tracks, some of which ("Better Red Than Dead" and "Some By Virtue Fall") were part of iX-Acht's third then-upcomping album, (R)avolution. Some of these tracks (like "I.M.A. 2.0" and "That's Up to You") were reworked for the occasion. Deutoronomion quickly became iX-Acht's most successful release. On Soundcloud, the original track "War Without End" (which was actually a leftover of iX-Acht's second album) was notably successful due to its hybrid nature, mixing together different styles like rap, EBM and industrial.

There have been TWO MAIN EDITIONS for this release:

#401 - VOLUME 1: LIGHTS, which includes all tracks from Vol.1 (15x MP3, 320kpbs), the regular "bright" cover and Bandcamp-exclusive pictures.

#402 - VOLUME 2: SHADOWS, which includes all tracks from Vol.2 (15x MP3, 320kpbs), the alternative "dark" cover and Bandcamp-exclusive pictures.

- Tracks 101 and 201 are two original tracks that were later included as part of (R)avolution (2017).
- Tracks 102-4, 113 and 203 are "Second Law" mixes of tracks previously released on Sceaduwe (2011) and A Noise for a Noise (2012).
- Track 105, 108-9, 111, 114, 204, 206-7, 209, 211 and 213 are taken from A Noise for a Noise. Some, like 108, were slightly modified.
- Track 106 appeared originally on the Industrial Welfare EP (2011).
- Tracks 107, 110, 112, 205, 208, 210 and 212 are taken from Sceaduwe. Some, like 208, were slightly modified.
- Tracks 115, 202, 214 and 215 are original tracks that are exclusive to the Deuteronomion compilation.
